Anthony Sweetman

Anthony Sweetman is a senior finance executive and investment banking leader with nearly three decades of experience across global markets. As Co-Head of the Investment Bank for UBS Asia Pacific, he oversees major transactions and strategic relationships across the region.

Since joining UBS in 1997, Anthony has held a range of leadership roles, including Head of Global Banking, Australasia and Co-Country Head of UBS Australasia. Earlier in his career, he led the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Advisory business for almost a decade, specialising in public company change-of-control transactions.

Anthony holds a Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, and a former member of the Australian Takeovers Panel.

Recognised for his strategic insight and collaborative leadership, Anthony continues to play an active role in shaping Australia’s corporate and financial landscape.
